The Army Commendation Medal is awarded to American and foreign military personnel who have
performed noteworthy service in any capacity with the United States Army.
Qualifying service for the award of the medal can be for distinctive meritorious achievement and service,
acts of courage involving no voluntary risk of life, or sustained meritorious performance of duty.
Approval of the award must be made by an officer in the grade of Captain or higher.
Can only be achieved by taking part a in Deployment or Campaign.
NCO Professional Development Ribbon
Awarded to Non Commissioned Officers who have completed the Warrior Leaders Course.
Awarded to personnel who have demonstrated their skills in combat against another unit.
Awarded to personnel who have performed above average in BCT.
Awarded to personnel who have completed Jump School.
Meritorious Unit Commendation
Awarded for taking part in at least 75% of all missions within a Deployment or Campaign.
Joint Meritorious Unit Award
Awarded to allied units supporting in more than 25% of all missions within a Deployment or Campaign.
